22.10.09 - Vegetable madness?

Decided today I will be a vegetarian as long as i can remember! This was until i was reminded that i can't have fish fingers. This is a DISASTER!!! I need to assess this properly. I think i can be a vegetarian and still eat fish, besides how much fish is there in a fish finger?

14.10.09 - busy bee!

Oh my, so much has gone on, both positive and negative! hopefully be able to get a decent blog up soon. currently working on some new funky colour schemes and a new header... watch this space ^^^^

16.09.09 - appreciation is underappreciated!?

busy, busy, busy! Did i mention i'm busy? Halloween is growing closer, and after another ebay mess up my wedding dress hsould be here for my halloween outfit on friday!!

sketch book is well on the way (i think) and the tutorials are now back tickling my fancy! I'm no longer neglecting my love of design, and passion for Lomography. My Horizon compakt is literally 55Euro's away, and i've just added the first ROLLEI to my collection!

Went to the Si Scott exhibition in newcastle, and after getting on the wrong train (who has two trains 5 mins apart to the same destination fromthe same platform!?) we arrived to find the opening times of the gallery were incorrect to those specified on the website AND the shop front! The Si Scott exhibit was no longer on (it had been removed) but on the plus side i did get to see Seb Lesters work... and WOW! I was impressed!

just had a hair cut tonight.. well a trim. Hairs at that horrible "inbetween" stage, although what it's inbetween ill never know, as i need to decide what im doing... probably long again! (grow hair, grow!!!!)

09.09.09 - BUSY BUSY BEEEEEEE

update one - I WON MY STAGE OF THE LC-A RACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess i can say i'm pretty chuffed! Totally wasn't expecting it!

update two - camper hunt continues, slightly unsuccessfully so maybe a mk2 GTi is back on the cards... or maybe another mk1 cabriolet... Hmmmmm

update three - definitely need a puppy in my life, to keep Jack company for starters!

update four - Edition 38 was a KER-AZY weekend, so great to see everyone again, and plenty of show cars ;)

update five - Si Scott exhibition is on at the Electrik Sheep Gallery in Newcastle. Might have to pop up north n saturday... i hear the metro centre isn't far away either!!

13.08.09 - lovin' it

well the LC-A race stage 2 ended yesterday! Can't believe it. i feel so sad to have uploaded all my pics and stuff - hectic and frantic as it was. One location published so far, another 13 to go hopefully :)

I'm getting keen on twitter at the moment. Following people about, tweeting away, usuallly to myself too! Don't forget to check out my links page, im currently updating things that make my eyes smile!!

Once all of my locations are complete you can check all of the LC-A Race stuff out on my lomohome! (Link on the Links page!) Had to contact LSI again because this time my Diana Multi-Pinhole Operator seems to be a bit dodgy as the coloured gels do not line up with the pinholes! :( Sad times!

Looking at buying a Bay Window Camper too. God knows what Air cooled motoring is going to be like compared to Mk1 Golf ownership, but hopefully it will make me a lot happier than this mk4 is currently doing!!! Pretty excited about it all, going away for the weekend with the dog camping and getting some time away from the computer armed with a sketchbook and a camera no doubt i'll have a productive time!! This is going to be over & out for me, I've got two films to watch and still aiming to get to bed at a reasonable hour, unlike last night!

01.07.09 - A pinch & A punch...

it's the first of the month! (which meant that payday was yesterday!!) I've been a busy bunny as ever, with deadlines getting ever closer at work!

Diana Multi-Pinhole still hasn't yet been used - yes i'm slacking! I have grown a minor addiction to Cadbury Animal Biscuits, and updated the Portfolio with some "Hero Graphics" produced for Crocs footwear... also i'm excited to say i've just bought tickets to go and see athlete on saturday!

last but not least, I've had to say farewell (if not properly for fear of crying) to a Great Friend and Lomographer Matt Charnock as he's now moved to DK with his beautiful family!! ALL THE BEST!!!! and i'm going to miss the lomo-god soooooo much! Lomo-Love to you all <3>

25.06.09 - happy thursday?

Well work is incredibly busy, totally hectic! Lovely 11+ hour day today!!

Saturday played host to the BIG LC-A Anniversary. Pics are still to follow on Facebook, and the Lomohome once i've had chance to write the blog and have the article published in the Lomography Magazine (link to follow) Had a brilliant, if Rainy picnic in the Museum gardens with the Pigeons, and this was followed by an alcohol filled night in the slug and lettuce drinking shots from lc-a shot glasses and playing a comedy game of "I have never..."

Guess my list of things to do has shortened greatly. This evening of sunshine will incolve drinking tea from a teapot and eating CAKE with laura to celebrate her birthday on minimum finds!!!!! MMMMMMMMMM i <3>

11.06.09 - Run Rabbit Run

Managed to run 1k this morning and another 2k tonight after work in my comfy new running shoes! Only 17 more days until the Race for Life, and so far i've got £226 sponsorship,which when the final total arrives will be matched by my work!

I've been bad AGAIN and ordered the New Diana Multi-Pinhole camera!

Can't wait for it to arrive. Good Ol' Piggy Points :)

05.06.09 - LC-A madness

WOW!!!! I've just found out I have been selected for the Lomo LC-A Big Race! This is a Worldwide competition consisting of 10 teams of lomographers worldwide and i have the privelidge of working with 9 amazing lomographers from with Europe, spanning Ireland, Belgium, South Africa and England. BIG LC-A RACE

Also got a Diana Instant Back and some film arriving... i cannot wait to give that a go.. wonder how i would work - if at all with Ringflash, Colourspalsh flash or the Diana+ Flash? Hmmmmmm possibilities!!

02.06.09 - fun times a-comin'

Roll on the 20th JUNE!!! Well found out today Myself and Matt have been chosen to hold one of twenty five worldwide LOMO LC-A 25th Birthday Celebration Parties. (Plenty More Info to follow I promise!) Ours will be in two weeks time, details to follow! 21st June 2009! Bring on the Lomo wall & LC-A madness :D

Ooooh.. almost forgot - i won Lomo Home of the Day for the 3rd time - and i missed it!!!! Thanks to all of you who congratulated me, i'm extremely greatful and honoured for this award again. Beta & Meta Lomohome have now also migrated and i now have a fuller newstyle Lomo Home!

18.05.09 - Wisdom...teeth

Woah, im 23, and finally the degree in colouring in is being combined with the wisdom provided only after the pain of 2 teeth appearing! Ok - so most of you know that i cannot tell you where daneland is on a map, but i can tell you they make danish pastries there!! Works been incredibly busy as ever as the workload has increassed along with my responsibility and i'm thriving on it!!!

Even if i'm snowed under with work, im benefiting from my direct connections with the Marketing department at Nisa. The mk1 Golf Cabiolet has gone to a new home, and to say i'm gutted is an understatement! Although i had a fantastic weekend away for my birthday consisting of an amazing lamp with pictures of me and a mate all round the shade, a ride on the Manchester wheel and lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe! My birthday provided me with an amazing indian meal at The Viceroy, followed by a chinese celebration lunch at jumbo's on saturday! Treated myself to a pair of reebok top downs for an early birthday present!

Could not ask for more... for now.

26.04.09 - There's a Moose Loose aboot this Hoose...

Lordy Lordy, what a hectic weekend! Got the first 3 rolls back from the LC-A and after a lovely slip/trip/fall in the bath leaving me with bruises well into my ribs - not attractive!! Spent Saturday at Oulton Park watching the drift racing - woweee that was fun and i really want to go see the EDC finals at silverstone coming up - maybe i can get a suntan?? My heads finally being filled with designy-type things again and I'm finally smiling! It's almost the bank holiday isnt it??????? hmmmmmmmmmm...

07.04.09 - LC-A madness

Ok, so my LC-A Left Germany yesterday, but is still in Germany according to the tracker! I'm a little imaptient but if the last orders are anything to go by i expet it to arrive in England at midnight and should hopefully be delivered tomorrow morning, so i'll be popping home for it at lunch i reckon!! Also getting a few more hours on the Ink tomorrow - one step closer to it being finished! Almost at £200 sponsorship for the Cancer Research UK Race for life! 21.12.08 - A lack of updates & more bootsales.

so since my last update i've added a few more cameras to my collection, including a lomo pop9, a halina pet 35, a polaroid 1000 land camera which will take 600 film not the standard sx-70. a koda brownie 44a with a film half loaded. Bought a coronet Viscount and a coronet Ambassador, the ambassador is mint and i think i'll be keeping it with my box brownie flash III. as for the viscount, i've decided it's time to part with it as i think its an ugly camera and im not that bothred about it!!

I have also managed to get a Lubitel 166B - this is my new baby! Wow i've nevr had a camera that attracted so much attention, or felt so great to use! But it has become apparent that i have neglected the diana+ and the holga! Hmmmm... how rude of me to have never put a 120 film roll through the diana!!!!!!!!

28.09.08 - Carboot Madness... and an impatient han

Added two more camera's to my collection this weekend, a Halina Super 35x, a 35mm rangefinder, and a classic - Kodak Brownie Flash III. Must keep my eye out for a flash. This hobby is certainly becoming an addiction!Still no sign of the Diana turning up yet. But i have been informed that it will de despatched soon. As for the 35mm back and the splitzer, they have been despatched so i expect delivery of them possibly tomorrow, if not tuesday at the latest!

There is now a growing list of things i must do: join a camera club, earn more money, redo the portfolio for this site, fit the door cards to match the new car interior, start the new book mum gave me.

24.09.08 - Oktokino + Slaughtered Piggy Bank

Won a 2nd Oktokino award today! Submitted teh image quite a while ago too from a trip to scarborough one evening so wasnt expecting anything at all to come from it! So with winning another 10 Piggy points (Euros/USD) i had 55 - so felt it appropriate to slaughter it for a 35mm Back & a splitzer for the Diana which is soon to arrive... the 35mm back was a priority for cost effectiveness so the splitzer was jsut a bonus.. saving for flash, coloursplash flash or a colour ring flash... mmmm lomo!!

17.09.08 - Robot Love

Today i was very pleased to find an e-mail from AC gears saying that i have infact won 2nd place in the Robot Love competition.. so a Diana + should be in my posession... there is no flash included but i'll use my piggy points towards that in the future... if i keep saving til christmas maybe i'll have enough for most of the bits i want.. especially the splitzer, flash and 35mm back are top priority... the other bits can wait :) - for now!!

16.09.08 - Diana F +

Oh how much i really want a Diana F + and all accessories, 35mm back, splitzer, fisheye, and millions of film! Guess i best get working on earning more piggy points and badges for my lomohome (see links) There is a chance i could win a Diana if i get the 2nd place in the AC Gears competition, although dependant on where i come if it's 1st-3rd i might ask to swap the camera i get as a prize for a Diana + ! Hmmmm... results are announced on the 20.08.09 - watch this space for updates!

26.03.09 - Erm.. Happy New Year?

Well the New Year has been and gone, and many other little things too!!! I got my Beta Home online and migrated back at the beginning of the Year so thats been keeping me busy too, uploading my lomo's and submitting to competitions, locations and the magazine!

Today was i had another location and review published in the magazine, i'm REALLY chuffed!!
